History

At the beginning of its establishment, the Technology Service Center (Pusyantek) was a Work Unit at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) which had a role as the Main Unit in the Dissemination, Commercialization and Transfer of Technology Innovation Products and Technology Services. Pusyantek was established through Regulation of the Head of BPPT Number. 170/Kp/KA/BPPT/2006 dated 21 April 2006 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology.

On March 20, 20227 through the Decree of the Minister of Finance (KMK) Number. 158/KMK.05/2007, Pusyantek is designated as a work unit that implements the Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern (PPK-BLU).

With the integration of 5 entities (BATAN, BPPT, LIPI, LAPAN, Kemenristek) to become the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) as of 1 September 2021 in accordance with Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number. 78 of 2021 concerning the National Research and Innovation Agency, Pusyantek is currently part of BRIN. This is also reinforced by the Regulation of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number. 1 of 2021 concerning the Organization and Working Procedures of the National Research and Innovation Agency.

Pusyantek's PPK-BLU status was re-established on September 13, 2022 through Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number.

In 2022, BLU Pusyantek BRIN carries out branding name "INNOTECHS" with the aim of showing that Pusyantek is always innovating and able to adapt to changes and developments in the world at this time .
